Sensor can detect the opening or closing of windows, doors, garage doors etc and can be associated with other devices for scene control. You Do Not even need to replace the battery as the sensor supports 10 year battery life. Sensor can be added into any Z-Wave network, and is compatible with any other Z-Wave certified devices.
